History
STINGFREE is a
Pennsylvania based
company. The technology
was invented, in the
early 1980’s by Dr.
Thomas Falone and Dr.
Carmen DiMario, who are
surgeons and sports
medicine doctors with
over twenty
years of experience.
The two doctors joined
together, in the late
1990’s. This group
perfected and patented
the STINGFREE
technologies that you
see today and
continues to research
and develop new uses
for this unique
technology and create
innovative
products.
To assure the highest
quality in materials and
in design of their
products, the doctors
have added to
there team a unique
group of physicians,
surgeons and scientists
with expertise in
the fields of
Orthopedic surgery,
Podiatry, Sports
Medicine, body
mechanics; material
(plastics) sciences and
in
vibrational & mechanical
sciences.
Orthopedic surgeons
and the podiatrists for
the major sports teams
in Philadelphia were
brought on
to the STINGFREE
consulting staff early
in the R&D stage of all
of the STING FREE
sporting products,
for their expert advice
on designing a product
that performs in
conjunction with the
human body.
These
experts in the fields of
medicine, ergonomics
(human engineering),
kinesiology (mechanics
of
movement); material
science; and vibrational
& material sciences,
have developed unique
anti-vibratory
and anti-impact products
that are ergonomically
designed and are
physiologically
compatible with the
human body.
STING FREE products were
introduced to the United
States market in 2001
and brought with them an
incredible story of
athletic, industrial and
military performance
products and technical
advancements.
